Market tape
Waiting for the current prices.

Are these even different bets?
1.Pearson
Do they move together in dollars, linearly? Default uses the chart lines (the path you already see). “Each bar” is stricter — same hour, same P/L.
2.Spearman
Same question, but by rank. A huge spike in one book will not dominate. Use this if one recipe is much jumpyer than the other.
3.Beta vs the pair
Is the book just owning EURUSD (or whatever pair is on the tape)? A large beta means it mostly rides the pair; near 0 means it is doing something else.
Turn on at least two recipes to compare how together they move.

Probability
This run keeps each recipe’s trades and draws them in a new order, including repeats. Ruin is a 10% drop from a peak — that path stops.
Run a probability sample to see how often each recipe would have finished ahead.
Did it only work because it already saw the answers?
1.Cover the ending
We hide the newest prices, like covering the last pages of a book.
2.Practice, then exam
The recipe may trade on the visible part. We then uncover the next 50 bars and score only those.
3.Slide and repeat
Move the cover forward and do it again. A real edge still makes money on most exams.
Each exam uses the latest 200 visible bars to practice, then 50 unseen bars to grade. Uses the rules you set — no last-minute cramming.
Grade the unseen bars to see which recipes still work when they cannot peek.
